Storytelling has always been a passion of mine, no matter the medium.
Joseph Elliot Rodriguez is an actor based out of Brooklyn, NY. I’ve always been a storyteller-- when I was child, I told my stories through drawings and comic books. As I grew older, I wanted to bring my stories to life. My passion for telling stories on pencil and paper became a passion to tell stories on the stage and on-screen. Having studied with The Barrow Group Theater Company, Terry Schreiber Studio and recently Stella Adler Studio, my career as an actor has been molded by brilliant actors who have fueled my love and knowledge for the craft.
I believe that storytelling helps heal people when words or actions can't. The need for people to connect through these stories continues in the face of a challenging new age of emotional awareness.
I want to tell stories about the human experience, not just the ones about heroes and villains. I want to portray real life characters that highlight all facets of human behavior. I want to evoke emotion from my audience-- I want them to hate my character, love my character but always be able to relate to my character.
There are millions of stories waiting to be told all around the world and I want to help tell as many as I can.
